9 and 10 months

I feel so horrible that I am combining months but I have been so busy and have had no time to post anything......

Sleep: nothing has really changed, they go to bed around 6:30-7:30 depending on how tired they are that night.  They have gotten more playful at night versus so grumpy.

Feeding: they officially have been ween from the breast.  They now have formula about 5-6 bottles a day of 4oz.  They have cereal for breakfast, fruit and veggie for lunch, snacks are a gerber snack such as puffs or veggie sticks and then for dinner a meat with veggies.  I have started giving them more solid food such as cooked carrots, whole bananas, and their favorite green beans.  They love sitting in their high chair to eat and its nice because able to get some things done while they feed their selves.

Diapers:  still in stage 3... liking both are in the same stage

Clothing:   Well, Madison still is in her 6 months but can wear some 9 months.  Jackson is in 9 months mainly but certain brands like Carter he can wear some of the 12 months.

What are they loving to do.......

They love to beat on different items to hear the differences and love to hear the different sounds they make. I love the expressions when they find a new one.

Family Sunday, trip to Jacksonville zoo which....

which they had their first ride on the Carousal....

Milestone:  Both of them are sitting up with no support.  They are able to turn around, twist, scoot (their form of crawling).

8 Months

Sleep: Has been amazing.  The twins have been sleeping through the night onces again.  We do our normal routine of bath, pj, read book and then they lay down in bed and usually fall right asleep.  They don't even cry anymore. Its awesome.  Jackson has started sleeping on his stomach right around 9 months.

Feeding: Still breast milk and some formula.  Mainly just afternoon bottle.  Still on stage 2 but graduated to stage towards the end of 8 months.  They now eat puffs which at first were not feeding their selves but now they pick them up and eat them. So cute.....

Diapers:  Stage 3

Clothing:   Jackson is wearing mainly 9 month although he has several 12 month Carters that he can wear.  He has kinda leveled out on his growing spurt which is nice because he can wear his outfits more then once.    Madison is wearing 6 months although still big on her.  She is my little one, not much growth.

What are they loving to do.......

to play, laugh, and touch your face. Of course they love mama's necklace and and any other jewelry. We have been too Sea World twice. They enjoy the Shamu show.

Took 8 months but they found the stickers.....

Milestone:  Both of them are sitting up with no support.  They are able to turn around, twist, scoot (there form of crawling).

7 months

Can not believe that we are now in month 8.  The twins 7 months was very busy and they have so much personality now.
Sleep: After they were over their bronchitis we started to have issues with keeping Jackson in his bed.  Madison has always been such a good sleeper.  We would do bath time, she would have a bottle, rock her for a little bit, and she would be sound a sleep. She would sleep in her crib without waking up till about 5 AM.  Jackson would be rocked, fall asleep, you would lay him down and within about 30 min he would be screaming.  We would end up just putting him in bed with us before morning.  Finally, we did what I never wanted to do but letting them cry in crib till they fell asleep.  It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  The first night it lasted about 20 min then the second night about 15 min and now it might be as long as 5 min.  Its amazing. We have our nights back and bed time is so much easier.  It was so hard to give up that one on one time loving and rocking them but now the can soothe their selves and they sleep through the night till about 6 AM.

Feeding: Breast milk and solids and some formula.  My production has slowed down some so we also have started some formula.  They have added an extra meal of solids.  Morning, afternoon, and dinner of solids.  Still no table food at this time.

but we have teeth so want be long.....

Madison got hers a few weeks after Jackson....
Jackson got his right at 7 months...

Diapers:  We are currently wearing size 2 Huggies on their cute monkey butts.....

Clothing:   Jackson is becoming my big little boy.  He is now wearing size 9 month sleepers but 6 month daily wear  He is so long but has such a tiny waist.   Madison is wearing 3 months mainly and can wear some 3-6 months.  Sleepers she is in 6 months because of her length.

What are they loving to do.......

Madison loves the pool.  Jackson does once he gets use to it but they both enjoy water so much.  They love love peek a boo.  Of course they have found their feet and love to pull them over their head, they also have found each others feet and tend to try to bite them..

They love the outside and going on walks (Louie enjoys it too...)

Milestone:  They both have two bottom teeth.

They are sitting very well, we have graduated from the infant tub to bath seats.  They love to splash splash splash....

OUR BABIES...THEY ARE GETTING SO BIG!

First solid foods....

Well the time has come to start introducing solid foods.  I felt it was a little too early based off their age but they are sitting up very well (supported) and showing interest in our food so the Dr said it was time to start.  They will stay 90% at least breast milk but just starting to practice with solids.

They started with cereal which neither one of them liked and then I mixed some sweet potatoes with it and they liked it a little bit more. Right now we are using the bumbos but since we will only increase the eating times, I have ordered high chairs which they will be a little more comfortable in I am sure. As of today they have had cereal (which they hate still), sweet potatoes and their favorite bananas.

Madison's first bite of cereal....

Jacksons first bite......

And...why not skype with Aunt Ali to tell her about the yummy bananas I just ate....
